Lucas Williams is an experienced litigator and a dedicated advocate for those who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. Lucas is committed to protecting the rights of his clients after they have suffered an injury and fights tirelessly to help his clients seek fair compensation.
Lucas is a native Texan. He spent his early years in the small town of Linden, Texas, before moving to the Houston area. In 2012, Lucas graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors’ degree in History. In 2015, Lucas received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. At only 22 years old, he was the youngest graduate in his class. While in law school, Lucas was a distinguished member of the Board of Advocates, a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient, and dedicated much of his time to advocating for children. He held various internships and positions at organizations such as Texas Lawyers for Children, the SMU Child Advocacy Clinic, and the Office of the Attorney General’s Child Support Division.
Lucas began his law career at a family law firm in Dallas, Texas. Realizing his passion for helping people, he then began practicing personal injury and civil law at a firm in Amarillo, Texas. At this firm, he took and defended numerous fact witnesses, clients, and expert depositions in a variety of personal injury cases including car accidents and workplace injuries. Lucas won one of the top 100 verdicts in the state of Texas in 2018. Just prior to joining Zinda Law Group, Lucas had his own practice, the Law Office of Lucas Williams, PLLC.
Lucas is licensed to practice in Texas, and throughout his career, has had experience handling all types of cases in litigation. He has successfully litigated cases such as car accidents, commercial truck wrecks, wrongful death, workplace accidents, gross negligence, and oilfield explosions.
Outside of the office, Lucas has volunteered with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), an organization dedicated to providing abused and neglected children a stable network of support and advocacy. He is also an avid ping-pong player!
