Sydney Abdallah keenly understands the physical, financial, and emotional burdens that injury victims often face after an accident, which is why she has dedicated her career to helping her clients recover the compensation they deserve.
Based at our headquarters in Austin, Sydney focuses her practice on motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, premises liability, burn injuries, and many other personal injury matters.
Prior to joining the attorney team at Zinda Law Group, Sydney gained valuable legal experience as an intern at the Eastern District of Oklahoma United States Attorney’s Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and at personal injury law firms in Sioux Falls and Oklahoma City.
Outside the office, this talented litigator is committed to staying involved in her professional community. She is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Austin Bar Association.
Sydney graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in international security from the University of Oklahoma, where she also minored in Arabic and Middle Eastern studies. As an undergraduate, she distinguished herself as a member of the U.S. State Department Diplomacy Lab, the President’s Leadership Class, the Honor Student Association, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Delta Delta Delta. The recipient of a Regents’ Scholarship, she was named to the Dean’s List and the President’s Honor Roll.
She went on to earn her juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating in the top 20 percent of her class. While in law school, Sydney was active with the Organization for the Advancement of Women in Law, the Legal Group for Building Tolerance and Acceptance, and the Oklahoma International Law Society. She also competed in the Intra-School Negotiation Competition and volunteered in behalf of the International Human Rights Clinic, Human Rights Watch, the Cleveland County Courthouse, and Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. In recognition of her outstanding work, she received the American Jurisprudence Award for International Human Rights, a Second Century Scholarship, and a Robert T. Rennie Scholarship.
In her leisure hours, Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exploring the local food scene, hiking, and watching movies.
