Prior to joining the attorney team at Zinda Law Group, Stefani served as a legal intern at YMCA International Services in Houston and as a clerk for a Houston-based personal injury law firm and for the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office in Conroe, Texas.
Active in her professional community, Stefani has benefited the legal industry as a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Austin Young Lawyers Association.
Stefani earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in English and philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin. While there, she served as artistic director for the STEEL Dance Company and as head of the recruitment committee and as tabling coordinator for Forever Texas. The recipient of a Jefferson Scholarship, she spent a semester studying abroad at Wadham College in Oxford, England.
She went on to graduate magna cum laude in the top five percent of her class with a juris doctorate from the prestigious Baylor Law School, which is perennially ranked as one of the top law schools for trial advocacy in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The recipient of a full-ride Judge Sam B. Hall Jr. Scholarship, Stefani was named to the Dean’s List nine consecutive times. She further distinguished herself as senior articles editor for the Baylor Law Review and as a member of the Order of Barristers, and she generously volunteered her time and talents in behalf of McLennan County Adoption Day hosted by the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society.
In addition, Stefani and her teammate won Baylor Law’s Strasburger and Price Moot Court competition, after which she competed on the Emory Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court team and the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team.
